UK furlough scheme extended by four months

The UK scheme to pay wages of workers on leave because of coronavirus will be extended to October. Mr Sunak confirmed that employees will continue to receive 80% of their monthly wages up to £2,500. Self-Employment Income Support Scheme (SEISS)

The self-employed are invited to get ready to make their claims for coronavirus support, and HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) will begin contacting customers who may be eligible for the government’s Self-Employment Income Support Scheme (SEISS).
