A draft of the Development of Tourism and Regulation of Visitor Accommodation (Wales) Bill has been published today. The Development of Tourism and Regulation of Visitor Accommodation (Wales) Bill (“the Bill”) provides the legislative framework for a licensing scheme for visitor accommodation. This builds upon the register of visitor accommodation and providers, as set out in the Visitor Accommodation (Register and Levy) Etc. (Wales) Act (“the VARL Act”).
