Wales tourism week, on site at Bryn Dowsi Gyffin

As you may know it has become customary in recent years to celebrate the importance of the Tourism Industry to Wales by designating a particular week as Wales Tourism Week.   Purpose of the week is to highlight the importance of the industry to Wales in income and job generation and in supporting our cultural identity.  Wales Tourism Week is held annually to raise the profile of the tourism industry and to highlight its huge revenue generating value and the opportunities it provides for jobs and careers.

To celebrate Wales Tourism Week Janet Finch-Saunders, AM for Aberconwy and Mark Isherwood, AM for North Wales will be visiting Bryn Dowsi Farm Cottages at Gyffin, Conwy on Friday 11th May.  The reception will be hosted by cottage owners Beryl and Dafydd Roberts.  The reception has been organised in partnership between North Wales Tourism and North Wales Holiday Cottages in celebration of the beginning of Wales Tourism Week.

As part of the reception there will be an opportunity to have a tour of the property as well as refreshments and talk to industry representatives.
