reCAPTCHA added to Go North Wales We have received a number of emails from members about our Go North Wales websites “email the provider form” being misused to send bogus enquiry. As a measure to reduce this we have this morning installed reCAPTCHA which is a system designed to establish that a visitor to Go North Wales is human and not a robot. We have also created a page on how to spot, and avoid falling for scams and will post new bogus emails that we receive from our members on this page. UNESCO status for Wales’ Slate Landscape

A commission for 300 of the finest welsh slate coasters to be produced for a nomination exhibition for the UNESCO Slate Landscape Heritage bid at Westminster this week. Inigo Jones are proud to support the nomination, as the slate industry is an iconic feature of North Wales, and it’s products have literally ‘roofed the nineteenth century world’. As an application was made to the Department of Culture, Media and Sport in Westminster back in 2010 for the industry to be included on the UK’s list of tentative World Heritage Sites to be submitted to UNESCO.
