The purpose of this consultation is to gather views on the way in which the pEPR scheme should be developed to account for ‘on the go’ packaging waste which is placed in public bins or littered in Wales.
WG want to hear your views on the following areas:
- Part one – potential policy options for how to calculate producer fees for producers of littered packagingÂ
- Part two – how to allocate payments to local authorities, and how to account for efficiency and effectiveness in litter managementÂ
- Part three – the definition of ‘relevant authorities’ who manage litter
