First – a great big thank you to North Wales Tourism for sharing our appeal with you
A Bit About Us!
We are a busy team of volunteering individuals, we are based in the Presbyterian Church, Penrhyn Bay, North Wales and we create Scrubs and other PPE (Personal, Protective Equipment), for the people who need it most throughout the UK.
The Scrubs Team
We need volunteers, particularly knitters and machinists. If you do not have these skills but you still want to help, we have other positions available such as outreach, social media, deliveries, pickups, drivers, and cutters!
Drivers, Cutters, Social Media Assistants and Outreach are all just as essential as the wonderful volunteers making the scrubs. If you would like to help us, these are brilliant alternatives to knitting and sewing!
Our mission is to get PPE such as scrubs, bags, visors, ear savers and surgical hats as well as care packages – to those who desperately need them and who may have fallen through the cracks and are working hard on the frontline ??
? We are sending them out to carers, assisted living homes, mortuaries, children’s wards and so many more all over the UK ?
CARE PACKAGES
We also create care packages to supply to hospital wards, individuals, and other people on the frontline.
We need new/unused hand creams to help save our frontline workers hands from constant washing. We also need other unused cosmetics and treats to make our workers smile, these could include shampoos, body cream, wrapped, sweets and chocolates etc.
