A series of changes will be made to the coronavirus regulations over the next 3 weeks

From 3 August: The restrictions preventing more than two households or extended households meeting outdoors will be changed to allow up to 30 people to meet outdoors. Physical distancing must be maintained at all times.Pubs, bars, restaurants, cafes will be able to re-open indoors. As will indoor bowling alleys, auction houses and bingo halls.Licenced wedding venues will be able to re-open to provide wedding ceremonies. Cultural Recovery Fund

The Welsh Government is today announcing a £53m fund to help Wales’ diverse culture sector deal with the impact of the coronavirus pandemic. The fund is intended to provide essential support to theatres, galleries, music venues, heritage sites, museums, galleries, archive services, events and festivals, and independent cinemas who have all seen a dramatic loss of revenue due to the pandemic. Funding will support both organisations and individuals in the sector. The total funding package is £53m in 2020-21 comprising £50m revenue and £3m capital. Guidance and regulations for tour/ coach operators

Anyone operating tours or visits around Wales will need to ensure that they and their clients comply with the latest* Health Protection (Coronavirus Restrictions) (No. 2) (Wales) Regulations 2020 and guidance for tourism and hospitality businesses for a phased and safe re-opening.  This must include a full risk assessment and consideration of all requirements including (but not limited to) social/physical distancing and our Test, Trace, Protect approach.  In respect of transport, coach operators should follow the guidance that applies to public transport operators and ensure that they have undertaken a full risk assessment.  Note that from 27 July three-layer face coverings will become compulsory on the public transport in Wales.
