We’re all trying to provide a positive and safe welcome, directing coach operators to the correct information and resources; and to try and minimise issues and direct them where we can to lesser known areas/places to visit. Visit Wales have created a re-opening grid to respond to the growing enquiries from coach operators in particular around the full re-opening of tourism in Wales.

As well as providing to enquirers, VW have done coach industry webinars and it’s now been published on the Coach Tourism Association website (https://coachtourismassociation.co.uk/cta-partners-visit-wales/). Now that more places are re-opening and gathering restrictions are getting slightly clearer we would be really grateful if you could review and update any existing entries in the document and add extra rows where necessary.

Visit Wales would like to issue an updated edition of the grid to the CTA – and provide updates to other contacts – so would be grateful for responses preferably by return so that they can be collated with all other information across Wales and certainly by close of play on Friday 21 May if possible – please email to traveltradewales@gov.wales and digital@gonorthwales.org.uk.

Additionally, there are some further related requests/opportunities from Visit Wales and 3rd parties which you might be interested in – details also included in the document below.
