Latest Welsh Government update

Welsh Government have confirmed up to six people from six different households will be able to meet in indoor regulated settings, such as cafes and pubs, when they open from the 17th May. Further updates will be given by the First Minster on the 13th May. Businesses in Wales still affected by coronavirus restrictions will be able to claim up to £25,000 more in support to help meet ongoing costs.This latest support package will help those businesses, which remain affected by restrictions, to meet ongoing costs through to the end of June as they prepare for re-opening and more normal trading conditions. Wales pilot test events get underway

As the coronavirus restrictions continue to relax in Wales, Welsh Government has announced a proposed list of pilot test events to take place over the forthcoming weeks. Plastic-Free Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) Survey

Share Impact & Travel Without Plastic, have been commissioned by Snowdonia National Park Authority to conduct a scoping study to explore the possibility of creating a Plastic Free Mountain Status for Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) and the surrounding Snowdonia National Park. Since 2014, the Snowdon Partnership has been collaborating to create and implement an ambitious plan for the future of Yr Wyddfa and the surrounding area. Tourism leader toasts reopening of pubs but says industry has been let down

A tourism leader is looking forward to welcoming visitors back to North Wales after the easing of  Covid restrictions but he criticised the Welsh Government for the “confusion and anxiety” they had caused. It’s been revealed that from May 17 people in Wales will be able to have a pint of beer or a glass of wine inside a pub for the first time in five and a half months.
