From 6pm on Friday, new national measures will provide restrictions for hospitality businesses:- Pubs, bars, restaurants and cafes will have to close at 6pm, and will not be allowed to serve alcohol. Following the Chancellor’s statement yesterday, VisitBritain have received confirmation that they will have a rollover budget for next year plus an additional pot to focus on agreed priorities. This means that there will be a core budget of £19.9 million for VisitBritain and a further budget allocation as they work to support tourism’s recovery. The Government has also confirmed its commitment to continuing the GREAT campaign to build brand Britain, with a budget of £60 million.
