Alcohol Duty – new rates and reliefs

The way Alcohol Duty is charged will change from 1 August 2023, moving to standardised tax bands for all alcoholic products based on alcohol by volume (ABV), with new duty rates and reliefs, including a Small Producer Relief. Statutory licensing scheme for all visitor accommodation providers in Wales – Update

The findings on the public consultation about how a licensing scheme could work in Wales has been published today by the Welsh Government. The consultation closed on 17 March with more than 1,500 responses with an independent analysis of the responses commissioned in April. The National Lottery Days Out Campaign is back for summer 2023 Visit Wales is working closely with VisitBritain, who are delighted to announce a new National Lottery Days Out campaign 2023, launching this Summer.  The new campaign that launches on 3 July 2023 will allow National Lottery ticket holders to receive a £25 voucher to spend on any participating experience available on the VisitBritain Shop.
