Freelancer Fund opens for applications

The Freelancer Fund will open for applications at 12 noon on Monday 17 May 2021. The fund supports freelancers who work in the following sectors: The ArtsCreative IndustriesArts and HeritageEventsCulture and Heritage The fund will also support freelancers who work in events that have been significantly impacted by the pandemic, including those working in weddings and corporate events, but not sport events. As before, the fund is administered by Local Authorities. North Wales Fire & Rescue in partnership with Mid & West and South Wales Fire and Rescue Services have recently released a fire safety guidance document for persons who own / operate small self-catering holiday accommodation.

Wales moves to alert level 2

Wales will move into alert level 2 on Monday, the First Minister will confirm today as coronavirus levels remain low and vaccination rates remain the best in the UK. Latest Welsh Government update

Welsh Government have confirmed up to six people from six different households will be able to meet in indoor regulated settings, such as cafes and pubs, when they open from the 17th May. Further updates will be given by the First Minster on the 13th May.
